Abstract

Because of the high number of components and the integration of many
functions into the product, it becomes very difficult to see and analyze the
dependency during the development process. In this paper the FORFLOW-Process
is taken as a representative in order to build a model using the common
methods of the complex network theory. It is shown, which changes are needed
and which tools are useful to model the network. Additionally, one can find how
interfaces have to be defined and how to adapt the network to the boundary
conditions of the own industry.
